Basel, Switzerland – 29 November 2022 – Arxada, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Frauenknecht as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective today. Peter will be based in Basel and will join the Arxada Executive Leadership Team.
Peter joins Arxada from specialty chemicals technology company Atotech Group, where he has been CFO since 2017. Peter was responsible for the creation of professional, standalone finance and IT infrastructure at Atotech, drove numerous value creation initiatives and readied the company for capital markets. During his tenure, he oversaw all finance, treasury and tax operations, as well as external and internal reporting, investor relations, internal audit, the project management office and IT. Peter brings extensive financial leadership experience in both private and public companies, having held CFO and executive management roles at Constantia Flexibles and OSRAM.
Jan Kantowsky, who has served as Interim Chief Financial Officer since February 2022, will ensure a smooth transition before returning to global consulting firm AlixPartners.
