Arxada Hits Hiring Goal in Barcelona

Arxada, a global science-based chemicals company, announced today that it has exceeded its hiring goal, set at 100 employees, at its Center of Excellence in Barcelona. The company is expected to continue growing its presence in Catalonia, further contributing to the local economy. The center in Barcelona supports Arxada on a global scale in the areas of finance, IT, commerce intelligence, human resources, and commercial departments. Opened in July 2023, the Center of Excellence had committed to bringing approximately 100 jobs to the region. The company sees the Center as a thriving epicenter and a highly desired work location and believes it will continue to grow in the coming years.

Headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, Arxada is a leading manufacturer of innovative chemistries and solutions with 24 manufacturing facilities and 14 R&D centers across the globe, employing more than 3,400 worldwide.

The Center of Excellence employees are comprised of a diverse team of professionals representing 22 nationalities. The company plans to continue to collaborate locally to drive innovation and foster talent development in the specialty chemicals sector.
