Lumbrella® Water Repellent

As wood gains moisture, swelling occurs and when it dries, wood shrinks. Because this process of swelling and shrinking can warp wood, We offer Lumbrella® Plus water repellent, added during the treatment process. It penetrates deep into the wood thus minimizing the tendency of wood to warp and crack by slowing the rate at which lumber absorbs and releases moisture. It also provides improved dimensional stability.

For consumers, Lumbrella® Plus in their treated wood means no initial maintenance and less movement of wood due to shrinkage and warping as it dries.
